The opportunity to make your pharmacy practice-oriented, future safe and diversify your income streams comes to life at Pharmacy LIVE 2012.

As professional service delivery comes to the fore in community pharmacy, Pharmacy LIVE presents effective tools and processes to move community pharmacists back into to service provision.  With experienced speakers and innovative, hands on sessions, PharmacyLIVE promises to deliver practical knowledge and boost hands on experience of pharmacists in service delivery.

Announcing the opening of registrations, PSA NSW President John Bronger declared Pharmacy LIVE as “the way pharmacists can gain a business and professional edge as they move forward in the new pharmacy environment.”

Pharmacy LIVE will demystify government incentives and reveal the financial rewards of professional services. The incentives now available make clear that service provision is the exciting future for community pharmacists and their teams.

“Hands on practice with devices and tools and step-by-step processes on service delivery form the basis of Pharmacy LIVE 2012,” Mr Bronger said.

“Enabling pharmacists on the leading edge of service provision to guide delegates through service delivery is paramount to the unique LIVE experience. The interactive and innovative learning program will provide delegates with the opportunity to supplement a clinical update with knowledge patients need and will understand, to put confidence back into pharmacy as a healthcare destination.

“Pharmacy LIVE is about giving pharmacists guidance on how to improve their professional service offering, or how to start from scratch, in order to enhance their professional satisfaction and diversify their income streams.”

Registrations are now open for the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia’s professional services event of 2012 – Pharmacy LIVE 2012.  Featuring four streams over two days, the program seizes on topics critical to national health and practice incentives.  Expert presenters and experienced facilitators will support delegates in their development of services to suit their pharmacy’s needs.

Pharmacy LIVE will be held at The Sebel, Parramatta on 9-10 September 2012.

Earlybird rates close 17 August. For more information, visit http://www.psa.org.au/archives/ai1ec_event/pharmacylive-2012 To register, call PSA NSW at 94311100 or register online at http://www.psa.org.au/education/events.
