Fees no longer need to be a barrier for pharmacists and interns improving their management, business and professional skills.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) has gained Government approval to offer VET FEE-HELP for participants in the newly accredited Graduate Diploma of Applied Pharmacy Practice.
The approval is part of PSA’s charter to expand and enhance access to learning and education to all pharmacists and interns.
VET FEE-HELP is a loan program to help eligible students enrolled in higher-level vocational education and training (VET) courses at approved VET providers to pay their tuition fees.
PSA interns can elect to enrol in four units of the Graduate Diploma of Applied Pharmacy Practice and defer their entire course fee through VET FEE-HELP.
National President of the PSA, Grant Kardachi, said the development was a reflection of PSA’s commitment to helping secure the future of the profession.
“PSA interns now have the option to study now and pay later and complete units of a postgraduate qualification so that they are a step ahead in their career,” Mr Kardachi said.
“PSA has a proven track record in providing high-quality education for interns and pharmacists.
“The new Graduate Diploma of Applied Pharmacy Practice enables you to deliver better business results and build your career.
“PSA provides an integrated education program throughout your career and you can learn at your own pace and in your own time.”
