The 34th Korean Women Pharmacists Convention

The 34th Korean Women Pharmacists Convention was held at Alpensia Resort, Pyung-Chang in Korea on 24th of September, 2011.
There were 1,200 women pharmacists who came from all over the country. This convention was meaningful than any other because it had an important and hottest issue nowadays which is the resolution against movement to revise the pharmaceutical affairs’ law.
Throughout this convention, participants took part in symposium about problems of OTC (over-the-counter) medicine sales outside pharmacies.
In the opening ceremony, many congressmen had participated and clearly promised that the parliament would not pass the amendment of the pharmaceutical affairs’ law which permits the OTC medicine sales outside pharmacies for safety.
