Lately the news has been full of warnings about NSAIDs, glitazones and calcium. But evidencebased
medicine requires judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about
individual patient care. This session will discuss emerging evidence of cardiovascular risks
associated with three groups of medications and applying evidence to patients.
Patient-centred Care and Interpreting Statistics: a Case‑based Session
A case-based session using a recent published article to explore clinical decision-making together
with an approach to incorp orating patient beliefs and preferences.
