Hospital Deal a Good First Step

The agreement reached between the Federal Government and State and Territory Governments over hospital reform is a good step towards reforming the whole health-care system in Australia, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia says.

National President of the PSA, Warwick Plunkett, said the difficulties encountered in reaching the agreement on hospitals funding was symptomatic of the complexity of the problem the Federal Government faced in reforming the health system.
