PAC11 raises the bar
PSA held is most successful Pharmacy Australia Congress 2011 (PAC11) ever at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre last month with record numbers attending.
Congress Committee Chair John Jackson said that more than 900 delegates attended the many sessions and social events, including delegates from as far away as China, Indonesia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Uzbekistan.
National President Grant Kardachi said PAC11 was, ‘memorable in terms of a record number of registrants and speakers. Memorable in the range and variety of presentations. Memorable for holding PSA’s first AGM in conjunction with PAC and for a record number of attendees at the AGM. And particularly memorable for our new PSA Constitution being approved by members at the AGM, he said.
Among the visitors to the Congress was Trish Woolley an Adviser from the Office of the Prime Minister who attended the opening plenary session.
