International Benchmarking of Pharmacy Education

The International Benchmarking of Pharmacy Education project was launched by the Commission on Higher Education in tandem with the academe. This project aims to develop appropriate curricular program higher than the current BS Pharmacy program and comparable with leading schools of pharmacy in other countries. To date, the Technical Working Group after evaluating curricular programs in more than 12 countries, conducting a focus group discussion with leading pharmacy practitioners in various fields of practice and visits to leading schools in Japan came up with a three-track Doctor of Pharmacy Program with specialization in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Administration and Management and Clinical Research which was recently presented in a public hearing with the academe and leading practitioners.
