PSA OFFERS PPI SUPPORT FOR PHARMACISTS

     The high uptake of pharmacists registering for Professional Practice Incentives under the 5th Community Pharmacy Agreement has been welcomed by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.

To date, some 4000 pharmacists are reported to have registered for PPIs. National President of the PSA, Warwick Plunkett, said the PPIs were only the first step in meeting the full objectives envisaged under the program and pharmacists needed targeted support to help implement PPI services
