4000 register for Pharmacy Practice ..

Four thousand community pharmacies have registered for Pharmacy Practice Incentives (PPIs) – this is a great result with two weeks remaining till the cut-off date for start-up payments.

This means around 80 per cent of all community pharmacies in Australia are registered for PPIs. There are about 1100 pharmacies which have not yet registered.

The Pharmacy Guild would like to see every eligible community pharmacy in Australia registered before

30 June 2011. After this date, eligible pharmacies will still be able to register, but they will not receive the once-only start-up payments. So, eligible pharmacies are well advised to make sure they go online and

register before 30 June.
